Martina Vuk is a theologian and a columnist interested in ethics, nursing, disability and trauma, vulnerability, logotheraphy, spirituality, technology and social justice and how socio - cultural systems affect changes in social relationship, common beliefs and individual faith as well as self perception and the perception of contemporary morality.
She holds a PhD in Moral Theology and Social Ethics from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland and MA in Theology and Religion from KU Leuven, Belgium and University of Zagreb, Croatia. Her research portfolio includes research visit at University of Aberdeen, Western University Canada and a postdoc at Yale University, USA, and IIEDH in Fribourg. Besides pursuing research in academia her working experience prior to academia includes teaching and journalism. She completed traineeship in the European Parliament and few years as a volunteer in an international philanthropic organization working with people with disability.
